My 5 Fave Festivities To Get Excited for Xmas!

Ho-Ho-Howwww are you guys doing? YAY, my favourite month of the year and exactly 5 days, 0hours and 18 minutes until Christmas - but, who's counting? Well, deffo me.. since October.. But anyway, still need some help getting into the festive spirit? Don't worry, I got you - there's still time!

First things first, STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING. Pop some Christmas music on - Justin Bieber, Shakin' Stevens, Mariah Carey, the choice is yours! We good? Ok, let's get started..

Ladies & Gents, my 5 fave festivities to get you feelin' as Christmas'y as Buddy The Elf -

1. CHRISTMAS MOVIE PJ PARTY
Ok, now this is a must! There's no reason why you can't get ya girls over, get into your fave Xmas pj's (this is a rule btw) - no Xmas pjs, no entry - and pop The Holiday on. I mean, who doesn't love a bitta Jude Law? *drool*. Wanna spice things up a bit? Every time the plot switches from Cameron Diaz to Kate Winslet, DRINK! Can't get all ya girls together?  (busiest season of the year an all that) .. no worries, get ya self some festive snacks and enjoy a cosy film night-in by the fire. Dreamy as.

2. CHRISTMAS PANTO
If the words 'HE'S BEHIND YOU' mean nothing to you then this has to change this Xmas! Panto for me is all about letting that inner child out and there's really no better time of year to do just that. So get ready to cheer on the hero, boo the villain and (most importantly) -get that interval ice cream girl! & I'd be lying if the ice cream wasn't up there with my fave things about panto - #guilty!

3. CHRISTMAS SHOPPING
And I don't mean at your local shopping centre that you visit all the time. Go somewhere out of the ordinary, make a day of it! Personally I love to visit Bicester Village, it's always super pretty and Christmas'y this time of year and it really gets me in the festive spirit - I mean, just look at it! Plus I always go home with a cheeky purchase (or six) and that's always a bonus! PS, I feel it's only right to mention that roast dinner down there (scroll).. oh my gadddd. So definitely visit The FarmShop for some lunch, it's the cosiest cutest spot with insane cakes & an unreal Xmas Roast dins!

4. BACKYARD CINEMA/WINTERVILLE

One of my newest Xmas traditions and definitely one of my faves! Think Winter Wonderland, but on a smaller scale and with better street food! And I'm not even being dramatic when I say that the ChinChin hot choc alone makes this place a no-brainer (choc fans: you gotta trust me on this one). But, food aside.. you've got waltzers, ice skating, junkyard golf and, the real gem - Backyard Cinema. I'm a right cinema nerd and a Christmas fanatic - so the two together make the ultimate combo.

If Narnia-style wardrobes, cosy beanbag seats and secret tequila bars are a bitta you then I suggest you get booking - they sell out super fast!

5. WINTER WONDERLAND

Well, it just couldn't be a Christmas To-do List without Winter Wonderland. If you've been locked away on the Snowy Mount Crumpet *Grinch fans unite* and have not yet been, I suggest you reevaluate your priorities. And if Christmas markets, mulled wine, live music, beer gardens, ice skating, ice kingdom and a comedy club isn't enough, THERE'S A SANTA LAND!!! I don't care what you say, I'm definitely riding the Santa Express, selfie'ing with the Elves and visiting Santa's workshop..#HatersGonnaHate'.

And there we have it! I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it for you guys. For me Christmas isn't just on the 25th day, it's the whole month(s) leading up to it.. Which is why memories like these are so special to me :)
